We have WiFi throughout the lodge
Komatipoort is the warmest towns in South Africa - so all of our guest rooms enjoy air-conditioning and five of the eight are under cooling thatch. All rooms have DSTV, mini-bar fridges and private entrances. Most rooms and beds have mosquito nets, but not all due to the shape of the room. This is however not a problem. Our rooms are small, but our lodge is packed with personality!
We have room formats to satisfy most requirements:
Rooms 1, 2 and 5 are double rooms under thatch with en-suite shower rooms and covered stoep areas. Mosquito net over bed. These can be booked as singles too
Room 3 is a triple room with a queen and single bed with mosquioto nets and a shower over bath, This room is wheelchair friendly with ramps, accessible bathroom and grab rails.
Room 4 is a popular budget open plan upstairs family room sleeping up to six people in five separate beds in the same room-a queen bed, two singles and full sized bunk beds with an en-suite shower room. Great for the larger family or friends sharing on a tighter budget. No mosquito nets over beds due to shape of room. Not recommended for 6 adults sharing.
Room 6 is a twin or single room with two single beds, with pool outlook and shower over bath, Mosquito nets over beds.
Room 7 has a beautiful queen four-poster bed and indulgent slipper bath in the en-suite bathroom. For those with friends or family in tow there is an adjacent small bunk bed room to sleep two. Mosquito net over queen bed.
Room 8 also enjoys a queen, four-poster bed and a single bed with a luxurious slipper bath and separate shower. Mosquito net over both beds.
NB. Rooms 7 and 8 have an adjoining door so can be taken as one unit. We will discount for this for stays of 2+ nights..depends on time of year.
Most of our rooms are laid out around the sparkling pool that is Trees Too's centre-piece. Our tropical gardens are dominated by more than twenty beautiful royal palm trees which rustle coolingly in the Summer breezes.
Apart from DSTV in the bedrooms there is a comfortable, communal lounge with magazines and a small library in several languages and a variety of games
Guests should note that we employ a strict no-smoking policy in all of our rooms.
Security is not a big issue in the quiet village of Komatipoort, but our spacious car park is secured by an automated gate and has ample room for guest cars and the occasional 'normal' sized trailer/small boat. The perimeter of Trees Too is protected by a state of the art security system which is activated overnight, meaning no entry/exit over night (2200-0500) , ensuring a peaceful and secure night's sleep for all.
